Cookie & Local Storage Policy

Last Updated: September 2026 • NextStep ProShift

1. The Short Answer: We Do Not Use Cookies

NextStep ProShift does not use HTTP cookies for tracking, user profiling, advertising, or cross-site analytics. When you browse our website, no tracking cookie files are placed onto your hard drive or mobile device.

2. Why There Is No Annoying Cookie Consent Banner

Under international privacy regulations (including the EU GDPR and ePrivacy Directive), cookie consent banners are legally required only when websites employ non-essential tracking cookies or profiling beacons. Because our site operates entirely without commercial tracking cookies, intrusive consent popups are unnecessary.

3. What We Store Locally (HTML5 localStorage)

To ensure a seamless, high-performance user experience, we utilize your web browser's standard localStorage API for two purely functional preferences:

  • nsp-theme: Stores whether you prefer the Dark or Light interface theme (value: "dark" or "light").
  • nsp-lang: Remembers your preferred browsing language (value: "ar" or "en").
  • site-version: Validates that your browser is running the most recent optimized cache bundle (value: "1.9.200").

These items contain zero personal identifiers, zero IP addresses, and zero tracking tokens. They exist solely inside your browser and are never transmitted to our servers or third parties.

4. Third-Party Integrations & On-Demand Loading

Our appointment booking features integrate with Calendly. To protect your privacy and maximize page speed, the Calendly widget is strictly deferred and loaded only on-demand when you explicitly click a booking button, configured with privacy protection parameters (hide_gdpr_banner=1).

5. Clearing Your Local Data

You can clear your local preferences at any time by clearing your browser's site data/cache or via developer tools (Application > Local Storage > Clear).
